I ordered that and the fan motor itself. I replaced them both last night and everything seems to be working again. I just figured I might as well replace them both while I'm down there. What sadistic person put that third screw in the sound deadening panel? Oy!

The three screws on the panel under the dash are 7mm. Everything else is 8mm. However, you do need a 3-inch extension and a deep-well 7mm socket to get to the back screw on the under-the-dash panel. Mine is a 2016. So yours might have some differences. Everything is a LOT easier once you get the under-the-dash panel off. Much better access to everything then.

I now see what you mean. Had i not known what i was dealing with, i am sure i would have busted it. Getting that hidden screw back IN was no picnic either. I replaced controller, so far so good, crossing fingers
