I have a 2017 Base with paddles and right side volume/seek/mode buttons.
I have installed a Platinum IPC and have everything up and running as it is able with my As Built options.
I would like to be able to get the digital speedometer/compass working, but as of now I can't seem to change any options in the center part of the digital cluster. I'm assuming this is because I don't have a steering wheel with the 4 directional arrows and "ok" buttons on both sides.
If I install an XLT or higher spec'd steering wheel with these controls, is there anything in Forscan that I will need to change?
In the future I plan on getting all the Sync 3 equipment to do that upgrade as well. I just found a Platinum IPC on eBay for less than half of the cost I've seen recently and couldn't pass up the deal.
