Strange..... Mine was built yesterday and delivery August 4th, but then I'm only 300 miles from the plant and your train goes to Alaska First......

My X has been updated to arrive August 4 as well. i noticed though there is, in my area at least, a $1,000 loyalty bonus that will expire August 1. i'm trying to get my dealer rep to get all the paperwork done to take advantage of the incentive prior to the delivery. Any thoughts on whether that will work or am I SOL on that $1k?

If that bonus was in effect when you ordered you will qualify for it. I don't know if the paperwork can actually be completed entirely without the vehicle being there.

I've been told that if the deals are better at time of delivery, you get that deal. If the vehicle is delivered with worse incentives in effect, the previous incentives are held over for up to one month longer if your order is pending.

Don't quote me on that, but I believe that's the policy my dealer follows. In my case, I ordered with zero incentives in force (2017 order bank just opened) and was delivered with a small incentive in effect (500).

Stopped by my dealer yesterday to check on my order status from 6/23/16. He said it was scheduled to be built next week and I should have it in 3 weeks max. The dealer is about 55 miles from the assembly plant. I can't wait, my 2011 Avalanche is falling apart.

Yeah it will take at least 3 weeks if you live 55 miles from the plant...... The truck will take it to Arizona first so Sudbury78 can look at it as it drives by his house.........

Went to my dealer this morning..... got to talking to my salesman and told him to look up the $1000.00 customer loyalty cash, low and behold I qualified..... That makes 2500.00 total ford discounts going toward my new X...... 1000 loyalty, 250 ford credit ( I financed 1000 just to get the 250 pay it off the first month), 750 customer cash, and 500 first responder bonus. Might check with your dealer in case they missed something.......

Oh my dealer sees it. it's just that it expires 8/1, my X comes in 8/4. I'm wanting him to do something to ensure I can get the incentive. I'm we can start the paperwork or something to officially get me qualified to receive it since I wouldn't be taking delivery from stock until after 8/1.

I wouldn't worry about the incentives expiring at months end. If anything, the incentives will get better.

I assume it will sit in the lot a bit, then on the truck until that's full to roll out, then to dealer which will need a couple of days to prep. It seems reasonable to me. Plus I have a feeling he gave me worse case as well.

Yep that's usually what happens..... My dealer did just the opposite....... Car built on the 25 delivered on the first he said....... Well it's the 27th.... And it's still in the plant.... No way will it be delivered on the first.....
