2018 PIU, replacing side mirror covers. How to remove?

I have new mirror covers on order to replace these, just not sure how they are held on to the mirror body.

Anyone know the right way to remove and replace these old covers?

It’s been awhile since I’ve added the Ford Whelen LED cover. I think, once you remove the glass you remove the motor assembly, and that top cover has clips that attach to the bottom mirror cover. It was really easy, but you might break your mirror if you don’t remove it correctly. Removing the glass was the hardest part.

Well after about an hour of slogging thru youtube videos I did find one that addressed the exact issue. Seems it was fairly easy from what I saw in the video. These covers on the var are not the Whelen ones, just the stock covers that had holes drilled into them apoarently for mounting a couple of surface mount leds.
Anyway, I'm attaching the link in case anyone else has a similar situation
