2020 Aviator

You should be able to order one. I think I'll stick with the Explorer depending on price. The Nautilus at around $66k (CDN) is a bit more than I'm looking to spend and with the Navigator starting at over $88k, I'm thinking the Aviator will likely be around $75k to start.

What the rumors are that the Aviator will start at around 55k US. The Premier should be nicely equip. We should know number soon with the auto shows starting up. I also heard that the pictures showing the 2020 Explorer are not the final product...

Dealers need to sign up to be a Black Label dealer.. if they don't, they cant order Black Label trims. He would have to go elsewhere to order one if his current dealer doesn't offer the service.

The more pictures I see of the Aviator the more I like it.

Price it right and this will put a dent in some of the euro trash sales

You mean the 2020 Explorer won't have the 2018 Honda Accord interior?

What you mean ?

Previous posts showed the spy shots of a prototype 2020 Explorer interior, then somebody posted an interior shot of a 2018 Honda Accord, they were very similar.

I'm hoping and praying that won't be final production.

I be very honest. I have been a Explorer since 1998 and this new redesign that is showing doesn't convince me. I thought and still home that the one showing isn't it. I expected a complete redesign not a refresh. which is what this looks like.

It is a redesign. New platform, new horizontally placed engine and RWD with AWD option just to mention a few changes.

Does anyone else think the new Lincoln aviator looks like the infinity QX80?

Nope, in person they look quite different. You just happen to use 2 pics at the perfect angle. Come from the side, the rear or the front and it does not. Hell, even the same angle but pulled back a bit..

Lincoln grill narrows toward bottom, where infinity widens toward bottom. Lincoln hood extends over grill, infinity has chrome grill and hood stops short. side trim extends half way through door on Lincoln. Lincoln side window extends all the way to rear pillar. Yup, same thing.

I recently checked out the 2020 Aviator at the local auto show. I was the crazy guy looking under it more than inside it. The rear suspension "bags" are like a foot wide. I was mainly inspecting the new drivetrain to look for rwd but the one on demo was awd. Of course the doors were locked also since it was still a prototype but it had all the electronics on demo mode.

The thing that bothers me is all the little areas to clean on these. We have a golden retriever that loves to go on rides and there's no way he can be put in the front seat of one of these. My luck he'd cause $3k in damage getting rowled up by a passing dog. I just keep telling the wife how nice her Expedition still looks after I wash it......

One thing I've noticed about Lincoln is that they seem to have more items listed as 'options' that are usually part of a single package with Ford. Thus it isn't long before you've added $10k + in options. The Nautilus Reserve is shown as being $55,500 and after adding a few options it is over $65k and if you want the 2.7 engine, add another $3k. That still doesn't include all available options.
All figures are in Canadian dollars.
