Solved 2020 FORSCAN Discussion

I glanced/read all 27 pages here and didn’t see my question come up.

Is there a way to disable my 24 from automatically going into park when I open the door. I would like to still be able to drive with the door open if needed.

The other question is the little blue lights next to the map lights is there a way to turn that off?
it should not go into park if your seatbelt fastened with the door open.

I haven’t tried that but still a ton of effort. I’ll just go to a junk yard and get a belt clip if that’s the case. I guess I’m the only one who has this issue.

I'll try to remember to try that with my Aviator.

Mine will not go into Park using the scenario you described earlier. I can drive forward and in reverse with the door open and without seatbelts fastened. Perhaps the Explorer is different.

Team, is there a ForScan option to disable automatically engaging the parking brake when you dial into "P"? I find it really annoying when I am parallel parking and accidentally dial past Reverse.

I don't believe there is an option to do that since I believe Ford considers it to be a "safety" feature. Having said that, the Aviator does not do it.
