How's everyone looking on quotes / prices paid for a 2025 Ford Explorer?

I have the following price quote from my dealer:

2025 Ford Explorer ST 4WD

MSRP: $60,995

Dealer Price: $57,495

Doc Fee: $585

Total Out-the-Door Price: $58,080

Here in Missouri, we pay our taxes separately when we title our vehicles.

I have not pulled the trigger yet. Still debating. The offer above is roughly 5.75% off MSRP.

Thanks!

Does that include BlueCruise, All-weather floor liners, illuminated door entry keypad, roof rail crossbars, black-painted roof? What colour is the ST?
I did a "Build & Price" on a black ST, AWD without adding any options and the price came to $61,490.

I just read that the $1500 UAW discount has been revived and will apply to the 2025 Explorer. The discount applies to ALL shoppers.
The offer is supposedly good until December 31, 2025.

Hello,

This is for a 2025 ST AWD with only the rubber floor mats option. The color is black. I decided to hold off until better deals arrive. Based on my numbers, I should be able to get closer to 7% MSRP, and THEN apply any rebates.

When you configure the ST online, be sure to select the finance option and NOT lease option. I believe the price you're seeing includes the lease acquisition fee. I do not plan on leasing.

My out-the-door strike price is invoice price, less hold back, less any available rebates, plus doc fee.

I know this price is possible b/c I got this price on my 2023 Explorer ST. I was patient and held my ground, and finally got my strike price :-).

Thanks!

Do you have a link? I'd like to send this to my dealer.

Thanks!

The previous UAW offer was for members only but the latest one applies to all customers as the article states.

" the automaker began offering what it called the UAW Member Offer, a new deal that offered not only union members – but all shoppers – $1,500 off the cost of a new Ford vehicle. Now, Ford has revived that same UAW discount for new 2025 model year vehicles, too."

I tried again. Even sent the link to the dealership. They said, "No can do." Bummer! They said I'd need some sort of certificate number directly from Ford, which I do not have. I then asked, "How would a guy get one of those certificate numbers?" Dealer reply: "I have no idea." So they were pretty helpful. lol.

Articles published by Ford Authority are usually reliable, so I have no idea of what's happening with this news. Perhaps it hasn't been officially announced yet. :dunno: Thanks for the feedback.

^ Ford Authority edited their article yesterday, now it reads at the bottom:
8/12 update: Please note that this discount may only apply to UAW members, as suggested by several readers. Ford Authority recommends readers reach out to their local dealers for official information.

Apparently if you're not UAW and qualify, Ford mails the invitation with a certificate #.

Any new news on the UAW Rebate?
Who would you call at Ford to inquire about this discount code?

There's more than 1 Ford Dealer.

Just sayin'.

Welcome to the Forum.
I would start by calling Ford Customer Assistance. I believe the number is in the Owner's Manual.

I built a fun little free website to help negotiate new car pricing. I support only a few manufacturers so far. I just need to know the Manufacturer and MSRP, and then my website will calculate what you should pay. Check it out! It's 100% free!

Thanks!

Are you still driving that Wrangler you were looking to change for an Explorer ST 5 years ago?

2025 active fully loaded
MSRP was $49,200
Dealers price ???? I wish I knew
Discount $3000
Trade in $1000
(Total off 4000)
Price (before tax, title , and $5000 triton extended warranty): $45,000

To drive away in exactly the trim, options, color you are looking for off the lot in November 2024 without ordering is very convenient as explorers (as most fords) come in and go right out so it was a good deal and the trade in was absolutely dead so I needed to do it (lucky they took the trade in honestly )

As far as the 2025 refresh goes , hell yes, I think it’s the nicest SUV on the road by miles, ofc the Lincoln is the super version, but I am not a fancy guy and $50K is my absolute limit, otherwise I would’ve spent the extra 10 for the ST

If you can swing it, you’ll be very happy with it
