I tried doing a search but I am really confused now. I was in an accident a little while ago and one side of my front bumper got pushed up and the other side got pushed down. Is there a way to align it so its straight again?

TIA

You have to see what's bent. If the bumper itself is bent then you can use a hilift or other means to push up on the bent down side and maybe get it aligned again.

However, it is probably your brackets that are bent. Best thing to do is get new bumper mounting brackets.

thanks bro. I looked under the bumper and it looked like there was only one bracket that went from the top bumper pad to the bottom of the chrome part. Is this the bracket your talking about?

Thanks dude.

Make sure it's not just out of adjustment. In a small collision, the adjustment bolts will just be thrown off.

I haven't looked at my bumper in detail in a while. If there are replaceable brackets as I remember, then that would be what you want to replace. This of it this way: if it's already bent and you just jimmy it back into place it will be weak. Then when you get into another accident the front bumper will do you no good.

guys, do either of you know where these bumper alignment bolts are or where or what these bumper brackets look like?

Thanks. :D

You're pretty much gonna have to crawl up under there and look :p
