2nd gen hatch/tailgate on 1st gen explorer? Pop out window?

Anybody know off hand if the rear hatch from a 96 will fit on a 91-94? As far as I can tell the only difference is the 3rd brake light but it should physically bolt up right?

Also how bout the 1/4 window off a 96 sport? The little pop out one for the rear seats, are these the same for 1st and 2nd gen?

Are you sure? The part number is the same on the glass according to fordparts.com

The hatch might work, it does appear to be very similar other than the brake light, but there could be something as odd as hinge position that affects whether or not it bolts up. The later 98+ hatch is completely different, though.

The small pop-out side glass should be the same for 91-2000. If it's the same part number that lets you know for sure.
