Drum, but ill spend the extra cash for the disc setup.

4.56 is ok, most guys go a little lower to run 35s. You said this has the 5.0, right? You'll probably be ok with the 5.0. Is this going to be for street or trail? If it is just for the trail, i'd go lower.

Yeah im gonna hit him up on the trans. As far as interior im not really worried about it. Two front seats and a cage are all i really want for this rig. Ill build a custom aluminum dash with autometer gauges and toggle switches and maybe even push button start.

The budget for this build is gonna be around 3k, i wonder if i can do it.

cool do a 3 seater

Mostly trail, just a truck for fun. Yeah its a 5.0 so i can always add some power. Ill drive it one the street once in awhile but i have my 96 explorer for my DD.

that EB 9" needs alot of upgrading to be at the level of the 8.8. depending on the year, it could be small or large bearing, but all the years of Early Bronco have 28 spline axles.

edit: since its a fullsize bronco this data doenst pertain to it.

Should i keep the 8.8 or go with the 9 inch since the parts EB has the 9 inch??

if the bronco is a 78 then its not a Early Bronco its a fullsize.

alot of damn good info in those SAS posts. Just trying to calculate the costs and see if i can get it within my budget. Im just gonna stick with the 8.8 i found one here locally with 4.56's and a locker for a good price.
