3"Suspension, 3"body ,and 285/75s :D

Options

Wish I had some good advice for ya, I wanted to make sure everything fit the way it was stock, If I didn't make the brackets, I probably wouldn't have done the body lift.
I'm not sure how much trimming of the plastic would be involved if you didn't lift the bumper, but you'd have a gap between the top of the trailer hitch and the bumper skin. It may look ok,

Don't know if this is an option for you, but could prove profitable if you had time and the ability to do it still. What do you think it would cost if you fabricated some rear brackets to distribute to people wishing to do these lifts. Or if you had a spec sheet/design sheet for the ones that you built that you could give to someone on here that was willing to make this venture.

Yeah, i was thinking of that, I may be able to get a couple more made up.
I'll need to get in touch of my buddy that works at the machine shop and see if maybe we can get some more time in the shop.

yeah even just a template would be helpful because i just looked at how it fit and i'm not sure how i'd even design a bracket that'd work

The bracket is pretty simple, It's going to have three holes on the bottom, and two on the top, just like the bracket that comes with the ranger kit. (different pattern though)
You just go straight up 3 inches with the top two holes. and then you need to bend it in, the same width of whatever the plate is that you used. I used 1/4 inch steel.
The only other modification that needs to be made is on the bumper itself.
It slides over the frame in the back, so it's C shaped, in order to lift it 3 inches, you will need to cut the bottom off of the C so that it can pass by the frame.

how much room do you have wioth those tire do you think you could have gone bigger with them if so what size do you think you could go before you start rubbing

I honestly wouldn't go any bigger without more lift, if you had another inch or two of tire, I think it would probably rub when you hit a rut or a rock on the trail, especially while turning.
But right now , it's pretty much perfect, not rubbing at all.

Thanks Lo8k9en,
I'm thinking I'm going to try to get another 3 inches out of it in the next couple weeks. we'll see how it goes. ;)

u mean u want 3 more inches.......how.............. im intreged 9in total lift should be nice

Well, I'm going to fab up my own "leveling kit" like the f150's,
As long as I'm not putting too much strain on cv's,control arms and such.
I'm going to jack it up another 3 inches with a bottle jack and see how everything sits...
I think I'll be alright though.
But yeah, 3 inch springs, 3 inch body lift, 3 inch spacer on top of the strut assembly, and my 33's should be pretty sweet, and when I wear out the 33's I should be able to fit 35's, but I'd imagine I'll do gears before that, and the supercharger.
I'll keeps ya up to date on the quest for 3 more inches though. ;)

Ben.

Ben.

Your not the first bloke, nor the last, to chase the elusive "extra" 3 inches! LOL.

Will be interesting to see how you go - especially the back where the CVs go through the chassis.

Yeah, that's part of my worry, and the reason I'm going to jack it up first with a jack and see how it would sit.
We'll see. ;)

I don't have a friend to do it, it'd be me...
I'll look into it, if I get some time over the next week,
I'm working on 7 different lifts at the moment.
By the way, did you get your banner yet?
