Hi all,
Owned Explorer for 15 years now 4.0 sohc xlt 1998, it has been off the road for three years now and decided to put back on the road, would not start as fuel pump seized so fitted new and one turn of the key and life began again , need to flush engine and change water in cooling system and clean brake discs , new tyers going on on next few days .
Now in 19 years my Explorer has done just over 100,000 miles started life as a right hand drive export in the U.K. Then I moved to Spain 13 years ago so had no wet weather for 13 years so total rust free and only thing ever replaced front bushes on roll bar and timing chain tensioner, tyers services brake pads filters but no other parts amazing car can't wait to get behind the wheel again.
