31x10.5x15 on stock 02 Merc

I currently have a set of 31x10.5x15 tires I want to put on an 02 Mountaineer. The problem is I have 16" rims on my Mountaineer. Will 15" rims off a Ranger fit? Also, does anyone run this setup? If so I would like to see a pic. The Mountaineer is stock, no lift. Thanks!!

Thanks for the feedback...not what I wanted to hear though! I need tires on the Merc but want bigger tires on my Wrangler....Oh well. Any suggestions for good all seasons on my Merc?

Lots of people like different brands, how does winter effect you and it sounds like your merc is your daily drive? Ebay has some good deals, but youve got a few to choose from depending on your preference ie soft for ride comfort and grip, hard for plenty of life or a happy compromise. Check out the X/ranger tyre and wheel section for some reviews or google suv tyres if you cant find what you're looking for on here.

I am drive mostly city/interstate and have a fair amount of snow and ice to deal with in the winter. I have been searching all over for a wheel and tire package that doesn't break the bank. I may just have to find some wheels on Craigslist. I have never like the stock wheels I have on now.
