My summer plans are to do the TT/shackles to my 96 xlt. I have 17x8 rims that i want to put new tires on for the lift. i found 31x11.5 for 17's from mickey thompson. think these will fit without a problem? i dont want to do any trimming. note that the tires are 11.5 wide not 10.5. thanks

No way to know for sure until you try. You may have to trim, you may not. 99% sure it will only be plastic though. You probably will rub a little tire on the front swaybar, but that's nothing to worry about.
