2000 xlt v8
i have a 2000 explorer xlt v8 . i have a warrior shackle lift in the back , and 2'' pro comp leafs , and heavy duty T-bars and 2'' twist . how much trimming will i need to fit 32x11.50 R15 , and will i need trimming in the rear?

you might have to do some trimming but nothing extencive. maybe cutting some plastic in the inner fender. as for the rear, driving down the road it will be no problem but offroad when you start to get flexy it will most likely rub

I had an unmodified suspension on my first '98 Explorer and I was able to fit 31s with no trimming whatsoever. My current Explorer, after giving it a 1.5" TT and a Pro-Comp add-a-leaf, still required trimming at the rear of the front fenders and on the bumper valance when I bought my 31s. It's hit and miss. You might get lucky or you might have to break out the sawzall, lol. If I had the chance to do it over, I would have went with 32s and just cut some more off. Do what it takes to get what you want or you'll regret it later on down the road.

I think alot of it has to do with the actual tire you get too, just because its a 31 doesne meen its ganna be 31 inches tall might only be 30. From what I have seen on other vehicles each kind of tire even though its say for example a 31 may vary a lil bit with in an inch or so.
