33' tires

HI all, 1997 ex 4.0 sohc, At the moment I have 2 sets of wheels, one with road tires which are 28 inches high, other set 31 "s BFG all terrain, Im now thinking of going to 33"s , but when I put on the 31"s I do notice a big difference in power,
my question , are 33"s going to reduce my power too much , as I do drive on the highway as well , anyone running 33"s, THx Pete
