I have BFG MUDS 33/12.5R15.. I can feel every notch on the tire as it hits the pavement. Ther are pretty loud, but they look really good. I just got back from Pepboys installing my new 33's and they told me they cant static balance them. That it would be pointless. They would have about 15ounces of weight in the inside and that with that much its not possible to do. He also said that it is ok to drive them with zero weights on them it would be the same as putting them on. I have driven them and they seem fine. They have no weights but when i hit about 60mph i get a slight vibration. Is this because of the new tires or because of the lack of balancing. Well my question is has anyone heard such a crock of shyt? The people on this board with 33's, do you have your rims static balanced or are the weights on the outside? Or do you just use no weights at all?

Pep boys balenced my 33 Futura A/Ts and used the weights that clip on the edge of the rim, and i've got a smooth ride

I want them static balanced though. that means the weights in the inside. Is putting the weights on the outside the only way to balance a 33?

Thats what i wanted to hear. Thanks :)
Look for pics in B&A in about 1 day. It looks Mean.. hahaha
