o yeah i forgot about the 3 inch body lift ima do that too but do i need to do the double AAL or just AAL

and will i have to regear or anything like that?

regearing's not necessary, but highly recommended. the trucks gonna wear down a LOT faster without it. I know a guy with a BroncoII on 35's for a few years now w/ stock gearing. but I'm pretty sure his truck is just a fluke.

about how much would it be to regear?

is that doin it yourself or gettin a shop to do it

anyone have a specific tire preference this is still gunna be my DD cause i need to get to and from school.

If you want 35s you NEED to regear. 4.56s or 4.88s would be what you want.
The cost of gears run about $400 for front and rear r&p and installation kits. Labor averages $400 an axle for gears.

so i will have to regear in the front AND the rear?

boomin how about the gears you have for sale 4:10 will those be good for me?

He has a 4x2 he only needs to regear the back. Go with 4:56s if its going to be your daily, it will put the gear ratio back close to stock.

ok and how much would that be including labor as opposed to doing it yourself. and if i do it myself how difficult will it be how many hours will i probably spend.

Parts - i think its something like low-mid $200

Labor - Couple hundred

Doing it yourself - if you've never broken into a diff before i'd guess probably close to 6 hours and alot of cussing.

awesome so i just need 5:56 gears and 6 hours of spare time sounds good to me what kind of tire do you suggest. i am considering using the Maxxis Buckshots. found four good tires for about 600.

4.56s

Don't forget a spare, while its unlikely you'll blow a 35 on the street it can happen.

For a DD i'd consider an A/T type tire. The Super Swamper Trxxus M/Ts seem to wear well though and most other M/Ts seem to get fair miles.

o yeah my bad 4:56 but what about mickey thompson baja mtz or claws.or even Maxxis Buckshots. would those be good or no?

Honestly i have had no experience with Maxxis tires. I go by bigger brand names that i'm familiar with. Personally i would love a set of Baja Claws but too me thats too much money for tires that will see more street use.
