ok so i got an egr code, a tranny code, and an o2 sensor code all at the same time. so i checked fuse 13 under the hood. i replaced it and it blew again instantly.. any ideas? im gonna try replacing it again and unhooking the battery just to be sure, but im at a loss here. what would cause this fuse to keep blowing?

There is a short somwhere in the circuit-
you might look closely at the 02 sensor wires , see if one has touched the exhaust-
also
look very closely at the plugs for the dpfe snsor and egr vaccuum solenoid. Those are all on the same circuit-

If no visual signs are shown, you need to get a meter and test for the short-removing 1 component at a time from the circuit-
set your meter to alarm on continuity, and start unplugging things until the beeping stops-

this will take you to the bad area-

sounds like a good idea. now i just gotta get my voltmeter back. :(

try unplugging all your o2 sensors and then just turn your key to on (don't start)... does the fuse still blow????
