4.0 to 5.0

i just hydrolocked my 4.0 ohv and crushed a wristpin. im about to pick up a 98 5.0 complete powertrain. any suggestions or time savers on my conversion of a 97 explorer 2dr xlt? now i have a trans and transfer case that were rebuilt by aamco 4yrs 53k ago for the 4.0 ohv. i can sell together or seperate if anyone is interested?

Swap the entire drivetrain, engine, pcm over.. Section525 did that I think.. The other thing your gonna have to contend with is the PATS with the 98, since 97 was not PATSlock

im picking up trans and transfer case.i didnt think of that thanks.i'll check the schematic on a 97 5.0 to a 98 pcm.

oh yea just looking into the fuel lines, p/s hoses, and a/c lines and driveshafts to swap out. been trying to get this going for sometime now without my wife complaining. part of me hit this lake of a puddle on purpose. My little 4.0 would't quit at 185,000mi.
