The 93 has been seemingly been acting weird as of late. When it goes to getting on the highway it will sort of bog down and barely be able to make it up to 65mph no noise no check engine light. It just bogs like it's reached a governor or something.

Update it was a really bad missfire that ended up with a spark plug literally exploding on us. Will be taking care of a tune up in the next couple of days.

Good idea to check fuel pressure after you verify all plugs and wires in good order

Took care of the plugs and wires. Now she is putting white smoke out of the tailpipe. Possible head gasket, crap. After putting out 3000+ for a transmission rebuild. Now we have to do head gaskets.

That's a miserable job.

How hard is it to get the intakes and heads off in the van? Pita or easier than the truck?

I’m not afraid of doing heads and head gaskets on ohv! Good idea to have some spare lifters pushrods and rocker arms on hand

There isn't much space above the intake, just a few inches at the back where the body of the van is over the engine. The doghouse helps with rear access. Once the valve covers and intake comes off, there's plenty of room. Using a floor jack to lift the body off the subframe isn't too much additional work and a few more inches is like miles of space.

Did the bars leak. Even starting it just after adding it. No white smoke. Even after letting it run for about 20-25 min. I took it around the block. She still runs rough, but better than before the plugs and wires. My wife drove it the day after. No smoke or anything. It probably needs the MAF sensor cleaned. I also plan on running some seafoam through the engine.

Thanks for all the help.
Tim

Yeah, that is what I put in her. Iridium plugs.

How difficult is it to do injectors on the 4.0 Aerostar?
