Especially with a rebuilt transmission that's gonna cost a boat load. but I'm going to go through with it because of the great customer service Certified is giving me. 2300 for the complete rebuild including the aux. cooler. Jon I had no 3rd gear or O/D. No codes, No leaks or cracks in the casing. All parts are going to be replaced with either factory standard or BETTER than original. New or remanufactured. All fluid flushed, Transfer case flushed. Transmission will be Dyno tested. And then topped off with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Transmission fluid.
And that's quarter mile time. Somtimes some vehicle look far apart buts thats only because they have better top end speed. A car/truck can beat you in the 1/4 but lose to you in a typical street race light to light because thats normally shorter off the line speed race than at the tracks. And if it was on the streets (Although I don't prefer the Illegal way) He's definitely going to spin out because that dakota is RWD. I think with a launching start I can take him maybe not by much but I feel confident. James's tuner probably gave me the most performance individually than any other mod I put on my Explorer.
And when that race does happen guarantee I'll have my friend record it
Well I can tell you all that I have no problem at all with the 4.7L Since I got my Torque Monster Headers and Flowmaster all put on the other day My truck takes a Dakota and Durango with ease. Cheers
