4-Wheel?

Hi everyone, new here and have a few questions. I have a 95 explorer eddie bower edition. I was stopped and put the car in reverse and gave it gas and if almost felt like the e brake was stuck on even though i had taken it off. Same thing for going into drive. I pulled over and as i was turning as well it almost felt like it was stuck in 4-wheel, so i was guessing since it was going slow and feeling like in 4 wheel maybe 4-wheel low was on. so i messed around and got it off, which is wierd because i never put it on. I got this wierd noise that almost sounded like the wheel rubbing up against the brake while driving but i could tell it wasn't, it was coming from underneath. Any ideas? Help would be awsome.
