I am confused.
The square mirrors do not just bolt up to an explorer or sport trac. They bolt onto earlier rangers sure… but that is not what this is.

Yes you could wire the heated glass to the rear defroster switch, I Like that idea.

I think I was confused about the compatibility between ranger mirrors and explorer mirrors sorry about that one

I’ve seen another guy online who’s done it called “That2DoorExplorer” but he never actually explained how he did it. I think he said something to me about having just drilled the holes out for it and macgyvering it. But, your solution likely requires a lot less ****ing up of the truck itself.
