Interesting, internal seam welds do protrude quite a bit in some cases. What kind of flow numbers did you get if you can post it? I had not thought of testing the flow of an exhaust part, but that's not a bad idea. I have a pair of 1 5/8" shorties as spare to use on my 347 when I first put it in...

Well I threw it back together with new seals & such, refilled it with 13qts, fires it up and after about 35mins I noticed some drips starting. From what y'all say it's probably the TC, pump bushing or pump & TC. Fella on eBay says using a F60SS TC would be better but Rock Auto has an F60 listed as standard. Rock Auto wants a core adding $100 totaling 218.79 w/o shipping for the F60, eBay wants 195.99 for the F60SS.
I know y'all warned me, I thought it was just due to the pump seal & o-ring & hopes for the best. Have extremely bad weather heading this way starting Friday into next week....course the way the weather gets predicted it could change.
