4th gen wheels on a 3rd gen...

Probably a dumb question, cause I know the answer...but want to make sure before I shell out the $600 for rims and tires.

Going to look at 2007 Explorer Limited split spoke rims with Michelin tires on thim.. taken off at 7000 miles.

Well those wheels didnt work out.
But I found another set on craigslist - 3rd gens....
The tires are used but still have the "nipples" on them. Got them for $400 plus my old rims (tires were shot anyway)

Much nicer. Those limited wheels are one of my favorites that came stock on explorers, it looks really good!!!
