4wd high now working 4wd low works great

Greetings
Looking for some direction here on my little 94 Explorer. We had some ice the other day so I figured I would give my 4x4 a test. I found 4w high doesn't engage. The light comes on but when I hit the gas only the back tires spin. If I go into N and push the magic 4low button. It engaged and all 4 tires spin. I am hoping it's something easy to fix.

update

I can hear the 4x4 module working in the drivers side back of the vehicle when I push the 4high button. I don't hear anything in the transmission. Until I hey the 4low then I hear it go into gear.

Hey man, welcome. Think there is a sticky thread in the transmission section. Sounds like it could be the electric shift motor on the transfer case. Most everyone has that issue eventually. It's an easy fix.
