4x4 harness?

I pulled my floor carpet and headliner and am cleaning up wires that are not being used. There is a grey harness connected right below the ash tray that runs under the driver seat. It looks like it goes into a rubber plug on the floor and am thinking this is for the 4x4 motor. Is this what the harness does???? If so I want to remove it. I have all manual 4x4 now.

Maybe. Have you looked underneath to see where the wiring runs after it goes through the floor?

nope, now that i have daylight gonna do it right now.

plug underneath has the transfer case motor wires. It was just dangling anyways because it had been cut when I took out the motor. I removed lots of wiring under my feet.
