Hi guys,
I am having an intermittant problem with my Ranger that I hope someone else has seen. I have a 1997 4x4 Ranger. Yesterday I was driving down the road and I started getting a loud growling from the passenger side front end. When I pulled over to investigate and turned right, I heard a clunk and the noise was gone. This happened once before on the drivers side, and I cured it by cycling on/off the 4x4 and it went away for about 4 months. No warning lights... Any ideas why the locking hubs would engage / disengage all by themselves.....Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
