4x4 selector switch '92 not engaging

I just converted to Warn manuals, now my selector switch won't engage the transfer case(actually, this happened before I replaced the hubs) Was wondering if anybody has had a similar problem and what the did to correct it. Thanks.

Have you even tried SEARCHING for this yet?

The problem is most likely (99%) your shift actuator.
There is an electric motor on the T case that does the shifting for you when you touch the button.

The motor gets dirty inside and stops working (cannot make up the contact)

Youcan go to Ford and buy a new one for $350 or you can remove it and clean it in about half an hour...

Rebuild that sucker and it will work like new.
