Does this sound familiar to anyone???! - My 2002 Explorer automatically slips into 4X4 High on start-up as I back out of the driveway, causing a bothersome gnashing of differential gears with the accompanying bumps and jolts - The transmission will return to 4X4 Auto with constant depressing of "4X4 Auto" button when stopped,but will reingage to 4x4 high frequently until I get up to speed and will continue to flash 4X4 High when traveling. When properly engaged the 4x4 system works well! - Any thoughts??
