5.0 L Intake Question

Which is the preferred intake to use on a torque biased (as opposed to horsepower) 5.0 L engine?

The SN95 style, with curved snout and in-line lower ports, or the earlier style (which is also used on the Explorers) with straight snout and staggered lower ports.

Or, does it not matter?

The oem explorer v8 one is about as good as it gets. You can always add a spacer to it as well.
