been going through ALOT of oil
Its not leaking from anywhere that i can see.
and i do not see any blue in the exhaust.
Wheres all my oil going??? any ideas? thx.

You might want to have this checked out. Your truck has 2 sets of catalytic converters, which will burn off any residues in the exhaust. Even with a blown head gasket or worn oil control rings, you might not see any smoke.
A compression check, spark plug change ( to look them over well) might tell you a lot.

Disconnect the air tube from the throttle body and look for oil in the throttle opening-wipe it with a rag. This would indicate oil blow by

Oil has been known to be "sucked out" by a faulty PCV valve, especially where the valve is physically located where oil spray can occur. Not sure exactly how the 5.0L in Explorers & Mountaineers has it's PCV situated, but that might be another area to look into in addition to "reading" the sparkplugs. imp
