I did an oil change bout 3 months ago and I put in a little more than 5 quarts of oil. on the most recent oil change that I did about a week ago, I put in a full 5 quarts and the oil gauge said that that there was where it should be. Can this be explained in a anyway.

The Explorer 4.6l V8 takes 6 quarts of oil.

the Explorer was parked at an uphill incline when I change the oil. not sure exactly what the incline was. Here is a pic of the oil gauge currently.

Pic isn't showing for me. The oil gauge is just an "idiot gauge." you could probably be two quarts low and it'd still read normal.
