Alright guys, I'm pretty stumped here. I have a 92 2-door Sport. 4.0L V6 with 5-speed and electronic 4WD. I was driving home the other day and tried to downshift from 4th gear to make a turn, except my transmission was stuck, it wouldn't budge out of 4th. I wiggled it a little and forced it down into third then it went into 2nd ok. Anyway, I was speeding back up and got it into 4th again, where it gets stuck again. So this morning I went out and managed to get it going from a stop in 4th, drove around my neighborhood and stopped. I wiggled it a little and jammed it into neutral. I then had full access to all my gears. I drove it around going from 1st through 3rd then stopped. With the clutch in and not moving I can get in and out of 4th but I'm kinda scared to get it stuck again. Any ideas what would cause this?
