55w or 100w bulbs?

i have hella 500's on my grille guard and i was wondering what would happen if i change out my 55w h3 bulbs for 100w h3 bulbs. i know i wouold have to upgrade my fuse, but would the wiring they gave me be able to fully power the lights? what fuse should i use because i read that the 100w bulbs carry 7.58 amps as opposed to the 55w's 4.17 amps? thanks a bunch

depends. what size is your wiring? you should use at least 18ga properly fused.

Hmmm. My Hella 500s are wired with 14/16 ga and a fat fuse block. Guess I could put in some 100W bulbs
