5r55e Shifting problem

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 4.0 with the 5r55e transmission. I recently had the transmission rebuilt and the valve body replaced along with all solenoids. However, when the truck heats up, it intermittently will not shift into third gear unless I let off the accelerator. It shifts perfectly when the engine is cold. Thanks for any help.

Is it possible that the intermediate servo is malfunctioning? This is really the only thing I can come up with that hasn't been changed out.
