5r55s Trans Troubles after Motor Swap

I think I stated all my codes (5) of them were all 02 sensor related. Those should dissolve once I have exhaust back in. That’s 4 and the 5th was 0106 , which talks about the MAP, but I am pretty certain there isn’t a MAP, but a MAF tho. Engine dies when it’s unhooked. I assume the MAF is good !
I found you in the group. I commented on your post there. I'm looking into some things for you. Also, blown fuse 41 is usually caused by a short in the o2 sensor wiring or an o2 sensor. Check the wiring for any spots rubbing against anything or in direct contact with the exhaust, etc.

Okay, so I was able to locate that one and a few more. I believe it was the wiring off one of my 02 sensors that I had cut and tried to butt connect back together , just for testing. I have those snipped off and need to get a male and female connection to replace it.

Here’s where I stand now. I adjusted the bands and I don’t think I did much after I was all said and done. Although after getting pissed off and decided to go drive it til it either broke or gave me something to go on to call a problem. The damn thing started shifting like it hadn’t done in a while but seems like it has 6 gears now. Once in OD or with O/D off, it doesn’t want to get out of its own way. If I stay in the pedal and manual shift from 3 to D it keeps the rpm’s up high enough to be able to drive it. I still don’t have exhaust all the way on and now I feel like it’s the culprit for sure. It can’t shift correctly or keep the correct rpm range and fuel /air ratio readings to computers if there’s little to no back pressure. Just my opinion! I’m in limbo on getting the system or not. It’s $360 and my labor , I’m gonna have to I believe !!

I’ve been at a week stand still due to driving 60 mph and looking down and a 8ft snake was staring at me !! Keep in mind. This is my worst fear and it was either hit the break or go off of 40 foot embankment. I had to scream like a little girl and put my foot on top of the snake which push the brake pedal I was able to come to a stop throwing it in park and bailing out the driver side door, it bit me on the damn big toe !! Every time I look at this truck or go to get in it I think about that damn snake I am traumatized by these snakes my whole life and I don’t know maybe in my previous life I was a snake wrangler or something, but I am terrified of these sombitches’ That’s why I have took a week off. I can’t get the thought out of my head !! I got a video of it coming out of my truck and I don’t remember it. I sound like I’m dying or watching something die. It’s crazy. Ughhhhhj

Still waiting on the damn exhaust. I’ve driven it around and the shifting has gotten normal. Just loud as heck I swear it feels like I have 6 gears. I have to turn off OD to get the rpms up. If I try to drive 50-60 in OD it will up shift and down shift but lowering the rpm’s. Same in idle. Runs and sounds good with pedal pushed slightly. Release the pedal and it will all but stall out. Sounds like it has a big cam in it. Hoping the sensor and exhaust parts will fix that idle issue. Im just waiting for another problem to poke its head under the dash again !! The snake has really got me good and the fear is unreal !!
