5th shock on '98

What is the fifth shock on the rear with torsion bar front end. It looks to be for roll. I don't see replacements for it except Bilstein?

Take it off and forget about it, or just leave it on and forget about it... most of us here removed ours long ago.

Scrap it!! From what I have read, Ford installed it to prevent "axle skating" at high speeds. As SplashMan said, many of us have removed it at one point or another. I took mine out when I got rid of the factory shocks.
