Ok, I have been researching a lot about ....blah blah blah.

Anyway my question is I need to use my X for driving between two cities, about 120 miles away. I do this about every 2 weeks. 240 round trip. I want a 6 inch lift, but will this make it extremely hard to drive? The trip has a few curves but not that bad. I also use this everyday. Would it be fine if i got a 6" or would it just destroy my car?

Another Q : Should i get a 5.5 Super Lift kit OR 6 SkyJacker for the front and something other thats 6 inch in the back? (How else could i raise the back?)

Thanks all

What I am doing is 6 inch skyjacker in the front, and I went with 4 inch springs in rear with warrior shackles, that way I did not have to deal with the spring over. I installed a 6 inch class II for a friend, and his rides really well, you shouldn't have any on road issues.

how much

how much do four inch springs for the rear cost

And what about total Cost for everything? Thanks

Well Ibought mine used, but they are around 350 depending on where you get them.

Umm, look in bluedemons post, I just went thru it all, if I missed something than post here, and I will try to answer.

i see

so if i go with a 600 6" stage one skyjacker lift plus 350 for rear springs plus 75 for warrior shackles
im set with a 6 inch lift
i think i just decided what im going to do and i dont have to worry about welding

are extended radius arms that big of deal for someone who isnt a hardcore offroader?

are rear springs hard to put on?

Rear springs, piece of cake, as far as radius arms, they give about 30% more articulation, but if you still have the swaybar attached it will cancel out, I would like them eventually, but for light off roading no big deal. They do look cool though:D

stage 1

stage one does not include shocks correct?

and i could get those for like 50 bucks a piece right?

Yea and whats the difference with the stage 1 and 2?

1 vs. 2

stage 2 includes extended radius arms and shocks

stage one does not.

i could be wrong but i think stage 2 comes with pitman arms and one doesnt

how much is stage 2 just for the front?

Shocks are under 50 a piece, hydro's are 30 bucks, nitro's are like 35 apiece. noy included with class I.

Stage two includes extended radius arms and mounts, these are I think 13 inches longer, and mount where your transmisson mount is. it also includes shocks, front and rear, and pittman arm, which is 75 bucks more in the class I kit. I have the class I and it is actually an easier install than the class II, like I said earlier, you can always add the arms later for 500

Class II is about 1200

Thanks for all the info, One more q what shocks do they come with?

They come with the hydro, or oil filled shocks, you can upgrade to the nitro's, which are gas shocks

one more thing

will i need a driveshaft extension with 4" springs and 1.5" warrior shackles?

im pretty sure i need brake line extensions, right?

Drive shaft will be okay, yes on the brake lines.

..

sorry for asking so many questions...
how much will the brake line extensions cost?
