My 1987 Bronco II climate control is not blowing. I can hear the blower motor running at each speed setting, and there is plenty of air noise with it, but practically zero air movement at the vents. With winter on the doorstep, I'd like to get some airflow (HEAT!) into my truck.

Is there anywhere that these systems typically lose pressure? Where is the air going? Should I replace the blower motor even if I think it's fine?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Maybe the fan has come loose from the motor shaft? Sounds like you'll have to pull it apart no matter what.

ok- sounds possible. has anyone else done this before?

3 screws take thwe blower motor out of the blower motor housing

ONce its out clean out the leaves and stuff collected in there and check the function of your blend door, on these trucks everything is cable operated so they rarely go bad IMO

The blower motors are cheap..I am on my third one with 300K miles on the 88 BII
