87 Ranger finally beyond repair

Kept pressurizing the coolant system, tore it down and couldn't find a crack. Put it back together, still pressurizes the system. 2.3 FI just isn't worth the cost to risk a new head

I'd say its time to upgrade to a 1996-1999 explorer 4.0L SOHC...

That 1987 owes you nothing and its time to let her go.

we have a 302 that old that just won't die. Man, I wish engines today were as simple as they used to be.
