91 freeway closure this weekend

...just a heads up to anyone driving the 91...they are closing down one side friday night and the other side saturday night....caltrans has info posted on their site but the closure will be between corona and wier canyon so be prepared as there are no alternate routes....

Hopefully they don't do it next weekend too. I'm going to Oceanside this weekend so I'm not worried, but I'm headed to Canyon Lake next weekend.

...you might warn your uncle though, it is going to create all kinds of havoc in our neighborhood....if this road work turns out like the corona 91/15 bridge work did, it will go past this weekend as usual...

As far as I know, it is just tonight and tomorrow night. They are doing some work on one of the bridges out that way. It will be from 9 PM to 7 AM both days and, as far as I know, the only alternate route is to go up the 15 to the 60 or the 10 west bound. Luckily, I am not headed out that way this weekend either!

...this area is known for bumper to bumper traffic anytime of the night, even on the weekends and besides the truck scales being at that location, all the other freeways aught to be fun during the closure to including, that the l.a. fair opened today..they are also having angels games this weekend too...

Oh! I forgot about the fair! I think I will save that for next weekend, though. I have other plans for this weekend!

Actually, I am helping friends get their house ready to sell and getting myself ready for a move. I just switched jobs not too long ago and, while I love the money, the commute is killing me!

Nope! I am doing an intermediate move to a relative's place that is a little closer to work (in San Diego) then will eventually end up, hopefully, in Poway or that general area.

(I am originally from the O.C., though. Born and raised there!)
