Alright, I've put a sh-t load of time, and money into my X, and I finally got it going a few months ago. It ran real good at first, but within a few weeks I started noticing a clatter It continued to get worse and finally I decided to swap motors.
I had another eng that ran great, had almost 80k on it. So now within about a month, I'm hearing some clatter again! But the thing is, It's only when It's driving down the road, and mostly when It's just getting to "maintain" speeds. It doesnt make any noise when idling or reving in park. This is the second eng in 2 months, I need your help! Ive got a gasket matched intake, cold air kit, 66mm BBK tb,headers, chip. I don't think any of these could be causing my problems, but I don't know. I do think It's running a little lean, but I don't think It's a coincidence. Please any suggestion would be appreciated
