What size tires are you running (overall height and width)?

depending on the tire size.. itd look real good with a 3" drop.. Im running 20s with 275/45s and Im gonna lower mine 2" next week but im 4x4

I have a 5" drop on my Explorer, with a 31" rim/tire package. 18" Saleens wrapped in 285/50-18 in the rear, and 255-55-18's up front. I tuck just a little bit of the rubber in the fenders.

A 3" drop won't get you what your looking for.

Anything more than a 3" drop, and you're going to have to C-notch the frame.

And when you get to that point, you will also have to swap to a 2nd Gen gas tank, as the fuel filler inlet gets in the way of the axle travel. I had find out the HARD WAY...luckily no fires!

mine's lowered and i got 22's and it rubs alot

The ideal tire size would be 265/35 which is right at 30".

that' s the same tire size on mine and it rubs on every dip and every time i make a right turn. and i have 3/4 drop

i have a 3" drop ibeam
