I had a friend rebuild my trans a while back. I am now experiencing some wierd stuff after a 18months. When you put the trans in reverse the engine revs to about 1100rpm and then the trans slowly engages. wierd stuff #2, at 45mph when the trans shifts into OD the truck surges, acts like TC engages and disengages. 1rst, 2nd and 3rd gear are fine. I was told that my TC was bad so I purchased a new one and installed it, same problem with OD. I was told that one or both solenoids in valve body were bad, purchased both and installed, same OD problem. The check engine light does not come on and I have no DTC's. HELP!
