Question for you explorer experts. I put everything out of a 93 explorer sport (don't worry I have cool plans for the sport) into my bronco ii(engine, 5 speed, dash and harness) and before I pulled it I found out my explorer's PCM was bad, my buddy has a few 91 computers that I've tried in it but it causes it to surge between 2000-3000 rpms. Just trying to figure it out, I know that the 91 explorers only have 1 O2 sensor but mine has 2 so I'm wondering if 93 is the only year I can use since I also don't have a EGR. Also I tried soldering new capacitors into my original computer and checked continuity but it still doesn't run good (super sluggish, no power, throttle lag). Also wondering if there's a way to check that my "original" computer is the correct on for this harness/engine
I have 4 computers
Original computer code: F37F-12A650-YB. ANY1
91 Navajo computer code (runs best with this but still surge's):
F27F-12A650-TC X2X2
Other 2 91 explorer Computers: F07F-12A650-VA. EOL
