The maf off of a 5.0 works with these engines? I have one sitting in my garage right now (the old one off of my mustang....might need to give that a try)
And you want expensive gas, come to Canada its 1.25 a litre here right now thats damn near 5.00 a gallon
yeah, its' kind of complicated when i explain, so bear with me.
get the v8 maf and strip it of it's electronics (black box)
take your current v6 maf, and strip it of it's electronics (black box, but be careful, you want this one)
put the v6 electronics onto the v8 maf and reinstall like normal., mine was a tight fit, but it worked with a little convincing. you'll eventually want to attach a cone filter to it and upgrade the TB down the road. with a cone filter, v8 maf, and upgraded TB you'll get lots of air flow.
