Hi All
I have a 95, Eplorer, XLT, 4x4. My truck started running rougth the other day it feels like it is missing. No "check engine" light, but I did find out that the pulley on the ac compresso sticks when car is running. In other words it will spin then all of a sudden it just freezes to a stop and then spins again. Could this be causing the truck to feel like it is going to die out when I put it in drive?

If the a/c pulley stopped turning, you'd hear an aweful squalling noise as the serpentine belt drives over it. Sounds like you'er seeing the a/c clutch(the inner part) stop turning(or de-energizing). If it is turning on and off fairly rapidly it could be that your a/c is in need of service. This condition wouldn't account for the rough running...just coincidence. If you got a miss happening, I'd look to the plug wires or plugs themselves. Hope this helps...
