howdy again, just spent alot of time reading all the eec-iv threads and went out and pulled the codes from my moms 95. its been running horrible for the last year... kept replacing things one by one as money would allow her to but it still isnt fixed. it idles horribly, stalls when you let off gas pedal etc etc. put a new MAF on it and new fuel filter. over the winter i cranked the idle screw up so it wouldnt keep stalling on her while going down the big hill she lives on in the snow. (and so she would quit driving with 2 feet to avoid stalling in town lol).
anyway i pulled the codes and here is what i got
KOEO
113 - IAT sensor is/was high or open
214 - Error in Cylinder ID (CID) circuit or signal - ignition systems
332 - EGR did not open/respond during test If memory code - did not open intermittently -EVR or PFE
KOER
172 - Oxygen Sensor not switching - system is/was lean - single, right, or rear HO2S - Fuel Control
136 - Oxygen Sensor not switching - system lean - left or front HO2S - fuel control
332 - see above koeo code
632 - E4OD Transmission Control Switch (TCS) O/D should be cycled between eninge ID and goose test.... i did it after the goose test..oops lol
i did remove the IAT sensor the other day and it was covered in dirt/dust. that was going to be the next thing i replaced.... can those be cleaned?
no idea what 214 or 332 would be
as for the 172/136, i take it the O2 sensors are bad and they need replaced?
another note, a couple of the vac lines on the Fuel pressure regulator got broke.... changed the plugs/wires over x-mas and broke them...dang cold weather makes everything brittle, all tho i temp. fixed them with some rubber hose lol. and it didnt run any different before or after breaking them, just wonder if that may be throwing a code now.
thanks for the help!
